This British luxury goods and haute couture house is one of my more recent and newest addition to my list of favorite designers. Although, the brand was only founded in 2007 by duo Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo (both of whom are actually Australian but run the company in the U.K.) it grew very rapidly. It had been about hundred years since a British brand has made it into the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, with Ralph & Russo finally breaking the slump in 2010. Their selection gave them the opportunity to show their designs at Paris Haute Couture Week. Truly remarkable! With Ralph as creative director, more history is made as she is the first female creative director from Britain to be elected to show at Paris Couture Week; as well one one of three female directors permitted to show collections at the highly prestigious Paris Couture Week. Russo serves as the CEO of the fashion couture house. I have been immensely impressed and blown away from previous looks I’ve seen from the duo, both on the runway and the red carpet and this new collection is no exception. Absolutely stunning!
